3 dispute LGBA top breeder honors
MANILA, Philippines – Anthony Lim’s Lucban, Boy Gamilla’s BMJ I and SL Blue Blade I of Sonny Lagon brace for a fierce showdown today as they dispute the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association breeder of the year title today in the 8-stag derby at the Pasay Cockpit.
The troika leads the chase for the top P1 million purse with 13.5 points apiece with Nancele Balibalos (Cutting Crystal) and Arman Santos (Jade Red I) toting 13 points each and Honey Yu (Honey 88), Willard Ty (Ahluck Farms) and Sulpicio Canarias (SAC 21) posting 12.5 points apiece, according to group’s president Nick Crisostomo.
Ogie Simon, Arnoll Manalo, Russel Cayanan, Vladimir Palis and Dalwin Yulangco also remain in the title hunt in the event sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor with 12 points each.
The runner-up will receive P300,000 while the third placer P200,000.
