Moderately strong quake rocks Cagayan

MANILA, Philippines – A magnitude 3.2 earthquake rocked Cagayan yesterday, but authorities said there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the tremor struck 16 kilometers northwest of Buguey town at around 3:41 a.m.
The quake had a depth of nine kms and was tectonic in origin.
It was felt at Intensity 4 in Buguey. Phivolcs said the quake was “moderately strong.”
