3 women found dead
BACOLOD CITY, Philippines – Three women were found dead in separate areas in Negros Occidental on Tuesday.
One of the bodies, believed to be a victim of rape, was found half-naked at the Hacienda Nabitasan in Barangay Malubon in Sagay City.
The bodies of two women identified as Isabel Laudio, 86, and her sister Celestina Fernandez, 88, were found at their residence in Barangay Zone 7 in Talisay City.
Senior Inspector Hector Balbon, Talisay City police deputy chief, said they have requested for an autopsy on the bodies of the victims.
Probers said there was no sign of forcible entry, but the house was in disarray, indicating that robbery was the motive for the attack.
Balbon said the driver of the victims, identified as Rolan Acaso, was nowhere to be found after the incident.
