Isabela exec shot dead

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – The municipal administrator of Jones, Isabela was shot dead by motorcycle-riding men on Thursday night.

Noime Guerrero, 55, had just alighted from his service vehicle in front of his house in Barangay Uno at around 5:17 p.m. when he was shot.

Guerrero was taken to the Prospero Bello Community Hospital and then transferred to the Isabela South Specialist Inc., where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Seven bullet shells for a caliber .45 pistol were recovered at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
