La Union cop chief replaced

CAMP DIEGO SILANG, La Union, Philippines – Senior Superintendent Angelito Dumangeng was relieved yesterday as La Union police director.

Senior Superintendent Leo Francisco replaced Dumangeng.

Dumangeng’s relief came a few days after Chief Superintendent Ericson Velasquez was replaced as Ilocos region police director.

Chief Superintendent Gregorio Pimentel replaced Velasquez.

Velasquez and Pimentel are both members of the Class of 1985 at the Philippine Military Academy.
