11-hour blackout to hit Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines – At least 10 towns and a city in Pangasinan will experience an 11-hour power interruption today.

Lilibeth Gaydowen, National Grid Corp. of the Philippines regional corporate communications and public affairs officer, said the blackout is from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The towns of Labrador, Sual, Mabini, Burgos, Dasol, Infanta, Agno, Bani, Anda and Bolinao as well as Alaminos City will be affected by the power outage.

The power interruption will pave the way for the replacement of wood poles and and maintenance work at  the Labrador substation.
