Laguna execs take oath before Villar
MANILA, Philippines - Twelve elected officials of the province of Laguna, including Gov. Ramil Hernandez, took their oath before Sen. Cynthia Villar in Calamba City yesterday morning.
Hernandez, who won over ousted governor Ramon Emilio “ER” Ejercito in the May 9 elections, and vice governor-elect Karen Agapay led other officials during the ceremony at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran gymnasium, according to Cris Sanji, spokesperson for the governor’s office.
The event was witnessed by more than 3,000 people from various local government offices and villages, and by the 24 city and town police chiefs in the province.
Hernandez vowed to continue their projects under the Tamang-Serbisyo program and the campaign against illegal drugs.
Hernandez’s wife Ruth and her colleagues in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan also took their oath before Villar.
