Drug suspect shot dead

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – Four armed men shot dead a suspected drug trafficker in Mariveles, Bataan on Thursday.

Reynaldo Javier, 41, and his wife were on a motorcycle when the assailants shot at them in Barangay Cabcaben.

Javier died at the scene from several gunshot wounds in the body, according to Superintendent Fe Grenas, public information officer of the Central  Luzon police office.

Witnesses told police that a car was tailing the couple’s motorcycle along the Roman Superhighway.

They said the assailants fired at the couple, hitting Javier.
