5 drug suspects nabbed in Sultan Kudarat

MANILA, Philippines – Five suspected  drug traffickers were arrested in separate police operations in Sultan Kudarat on Saturday.

Sitti Modzna, Maydar Adjim, Muddazir Nali, Orland Mosqueda and Norodin Malah were collared in the towns of Kalamansig, Palimbang and Lebak, according to Kalamansig police chief Senior Inspector Patrick Elma.

Authorities seized from the suspects 162 plastic sachets said to contain shabu and drug paraphernalia.

The arrests came three days after police officers in Lebak town collared a militiaman for selling shabu to an undercover agent.

Chief Inspector Benhur Catcatan of the Lebak police said Rollen Gesulta did not resist arrest.
