Ateneo de Manila locked down due to bomb threat
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE 4 2:41 p.m.) – Students and faculty members of Ateneo de Manila University were asked to evacuate on Monday morning due to a "bomb threat."
The Guidon, the university's official student publication, reported that the university is currently on lockdown as reported over the public announcement system by the campus administration.

A bomb squad car and a firetruck were seen inside the campus following the evacuation, according to The Guidon.
The Ateneo administration said in a statement that the university received a bomb threat at around 8:30 a.m.
"The Security office immediately requested the Explosive Ordnance Disposal and QC station 9 bomb squads to send units to sweep the grounds and buildings," the statement read.
All buildings in the campus have been evacuated while classes in all levels and work have been suspended.
