1 dead, 4 hospitalized after eating frog meat

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – An 80-year-old man died while four members of his family were hospitalized after eating frog meat in Dinapigue, Isabela last week. ?

Clemente Dulay died while being treated at the Dinapigue Hospital. His wife, Helen, 72; daughter Ellen 37; granddaughter Ellen, 15, and sister Agripina, 92, remained confined in a hospital in Santiago City yesterday, according to barangay councilwoman Delia Soriano.

Soriano said the victims complained of nausea, vomiting and stomach pain after eating frog meat cooked in coconut milk for dinner.
