Engineer shot dead

URDANETA CITY, Philippines – An engineer was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding men in Barangay Pinmaludpod here on Friday.

Daniel Bauzon Jr., 59, died at the scene from several bullet wounds, reports said.

Investigation showed the victim was driving his motorcycle with his friend Amado Ferrer, 57, when they were shot in Sitio Darumuangan.

Ferrer was not hurt in the attack. Investigators believe the assailants had been tailing the victim and his friend.

Police have yet to determine the motive for the attack.
