2 brothers electrocuted

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Two siblings were electrocuted after a water pipe they were holding touched a power line in Conner, Apayao on Monday.

Jason Valencio, 24, and his brother Eljay, 17, were declared dead on arrival at a hospital in nearby Tuao town in Cagayan, according to town police chief Senior Inspector Manes Cadengan.

Reports said the victims were fixing the water connection near their home in Barangay Karikitan when the end of the pipe touched a live wire of the Kalinga Electric Cooperative.
