Boy, 13, fished out of river

TIAONG, Quezon, Philippines  – A 13-year-old boy was found floating in a river in Barangay Bula here Saturday afternoon.

Erick Reyes was declared dead on arrival at the Liwag Medical Clinic, where he was taken after he was found in Bula River at around 3 p.m.

Reyes was last seen by his relatives on the same day sleeping at their house located near the river, Superintendent Laudemer Llaneta, town police chief, said.

Police said there was no sign of foul play in the boy’s death.
