8 nabbed in drug session

BATANGAS, Philippines  – Eight persons were arrested in a drug session in Nasugbu town Sunday night.

Suspects Lawrence Destreza, Marilou Mojar, Erika Marasigan, Irene Cinco, Willy Villafranca, Jeminiano Bautista, Ernesto Marasigan and Isabelo Peñano were allegedly caught using shabu at Destreza’s house on J.P. Laurel street in Barangay 11, said Chief Inspector Pablo Aguda Jr., Nasugbu police chief.

The raid was prompted by a report from a concerned citizen regarding the illegal activity in the area.

The raiding team recovered six plastic sachets said to contain shabu, drug paraphernalia  and a .38 caliber pistol.
