Ex-soldier arrested for drugs

BANGUED, Abra, Philippines – Authorities arrested a retired Army soldier during a raid on the suspect’s house in Sallapadan town in this province last Friday.

Although he was tested negative for drug use, Ricardo Marshall Torres will still face charges after police officers recovered drug paraphernalia from his house in Barangay Naguillan, said Abra police director Senior Superintendent Albertito Garcia.
