4 soldiers hurt in mishap

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Four soldiers of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) were injured when their vehicle rammed a truck in Sto. Tomas, La Union Friday.

M/Sgt. Carlos Rabsan, T/Sgt. Lindel Mabalot, Sgt. Jeremy Fontanilla and S/Sgt. Ramelo Baldemor, all of the PAF’s 580th Aircraft Control and Warning Group, were rushed to the Family Hospital in Agoo town for treatment.

Senior Police Officer 2 Salvador Espiritu, case investigator, said Baldemor lost control of the wheel after one of their truck’s tires exploded.

The military vehicle swerved and crashed into a truck parked along the road in Barangay Cupang at around 9 p.m.
