Student stabbed dead by brod-in-law

CALASIAO, Pangasinan, Philippines – A high school senior was reportedly stabbed dead by his brother-in-law here over the weekend.

Freddie Bugayong, 30, of Barangay Bacayao Sur, surrendered to village chief Gregorio Taminaya after he allegedly killed Jennifer Sotelo, 16.

Town police chief Senior Superintendent Satur Ediong said Sotelo and Bugayong were last seen Saturday riding a tricycle going to Barangay Talibaew.

The victim failed to come home, promp-ting her relatives to look for her that night.

Sotelo’s body was found buried in a vacant lot in Barangay Talibaew.
