2 nabbed in CDO drug sting

CAGAYAN DE ORO, Philippines – Two suspected drug traffickers were arrested in a sting at the Fishers Valley here on Wednesday by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Amer Pascan, 22, and Sitti Baser, 37, reportedly yielded 100 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P700,000, said  PDEA deputy regional director Rayford Yap.

Pascan was tested positive for drug use.

Yap said Baser was previously arrested for a similar case, but the court dismissed the charges filed against the suspect.

Pascan and Baser were said to be friends, but Yap said both were engaged in drug trafficking.
