Truck runs over motorcycle rider in Makati

MANILA, Philippines - A motorcycle rider was killed after being run over by a truck along South Luzon Expressway (SLEx) in Makati City, before dawn Monday.
 
Initial police reports said that Jun Yasul, 57, an engineer of Cairo Street, Purok 4, Multinational Village, Moonwalk, Parañaque City, was driving his motorcycle around 3:30 a.m. along SLEx in Magallanes when a car accidentally bumped him.
 
Yasul lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown off the vehicle. He was then ran over by an oncoming truck.
 
Traffic policemen said Yasul was died instantly.
 
Police are still tracking down the car and the truck that hit the victim.
