4 fugitives rob tricycle driver

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Four inmates who escaped a municipal jail in Cabbaroguis, Quirino robbed at gunpoint a tricycle driver in Santiago City Sunday night.

Driver Froilan Dionisio, 45, identified one of the suspects as Roberto Afan from a rogue’s gallery of the municipal police.

Afan, who is facing charges for robbery, is believed to be with three other inmates identified as Reminal Cabe, Roberto dela Cruz and Danny Bayani.

The four managed to escape after the jail guards allowed them to fetch water for their toilet last Saturday.

Two jail guards are facing charges for the incident.
