LRT 1 train malfunctions in Manila - report

MANILA, Philippines - The operations of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 in Manila were disrupted on Wednesday morning after the doors of its coaches failed to close.
 
Reports said that LRT personnel directed the passengers at the northbound portion of the Pedro Gil station before noon to alight from the coaches due to the mechanical malfunction.
 
As of this posting, LRT personnel were trying to determine the cause of the mechanical problem.
