Chocolate for inmate yields shabu

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines – A chocolate bar brought by a visitor to a jail in Silay City, Negros Occidental Sunday night reportedly contained shabu, officials reported on Tuesday.

Superintendent Rosauro Francisco, Silay City police chief, said Geronimo Superficial, 51, was arrested for an alleged attempt to give the chocolate to an inmate identified as Dennis Britaña.

Francisco said a jailguard was alerted when he saw a lighter with the chocolate.
