'Salvage' victim found in QC - report

MANILA, Philippines - A body of a man, dumped in a shallow canal, believed to be a victim of summary execution was discovered on Friday in Quezon City.

A report said that the body was found in a canal in Arboretum, Brgy. UP Campus. The head of the man was covered with garbage bag and wrapped with packing tape.

The victim, in his late 50s, was wearing a pair of brown shorts and white polo shirt, the report added.

Authorities also recovered a carton near the cadaver which says "Holdaper ako. Wag nyo akong tularan," the report said.
