Binay to join UNA rally in Iloilo today

KULASI, Antique, Philippines – Vice President Jejomar Binay will join candidates of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) in today’s proclamation rally in Iloilo, a known bailiwick of the Liberal Party (LP).

The rally will take place at 3 p.m. at the Barotac Nuevo town plaza.

Binay recently represented President Aquino in the opening of an art exhibit featuring four national treasures from the Philippines at the Museé du Quai Branly in Paris.

The four national treasures were the Oton Death Mask,  Palawan Zoomorphic Ear Pendant, Pendant Flower and the Maitum Anthropomorphic Burial Jar.

“It’s a rare and wondrous glimpse of the Filipino soul in ancient times, an inspiring introduction to the diversity and richness of Philippine culture, tradition and the excellence of our pre-colonial art,” Binay said.
