Catholic Church to launch 'red ribbon' campaign

MANILA, Philippines - The Catholic Church will intensify its drive against the controversial Reproductive Health law as it launches its red ribbon campaign this coming Sunday in Cebu.

Eric Manalang of Pro-Life Philippines Inc. said the anti-RH law drive, will be conducted in all parishes of the archdiocese of Cebu.

Manalang said the discussion will center on the role of the pro-life youths in the province.

He said the event will also be a venue to campaign for a Catholic vote in connection with the upcoming May 13 midterm elections. - Dennis Carcamo
