PAGASA lifts all storm signals as Pablo exits
MANILA, Philippines - Severe tropical storm Pablo (Bopha) has slowed down as it continues to exit the Philippines, the latest bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
"At 10:00 a.m. today, the center of Tropical Storm Pablo was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 380 kilometers west of Coron, Palawan," PAGASA said.
Pablo has maintained its strength with maximum sustained winds of 115 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 145 kph. PAGASA has however lifted all storm warning signals in the country. In its previous bulletin, PAGASA retained signal no. 1 over Calamian Group of Islands.
On Friday morning, Pablo is estimated to be outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) or 615 kilometers west of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.
"Fishing boats and other sea vessels are advised not to venture out into the seaboards of northern and central Luzon and the eastern seaboard of Southern Luzon," PAGASA added.
