MANILA, Philippines - Two mild earthquakes were felt in Davao Oriental and the Bicol region yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The tremors of magnitudes 4.2 and 2.0 occurred at 8:28 a.m. and 12:55 p.m., respectively.
The epicenter of the first tremor was located 157 kilometers east of Mati in Davao Oriental. It was felt at Intensity 2.
The second quake was traced 86 kilometers northeast of Legaspi City, where it was felt at Intensity 2.
