British rock phenomenon Coldplay performed amid neon lights and a sea of screaming Filipino fans for the first-ever concert in the Philippines on Tuesday night.
MANILA, Philippines – Hale’s latest hits and covers are featured in Spotify Sessions.
They’re the first OPM band featured in the Sessions, alongside other Asian artists like Malaysia’s Yuna and singer-songwriter Hunter Hayes. This feature has served as another platform for artists to showcase their music to the world.
“It’s an honor to be the first OPM band to be featured in Spotify Sessions. We believe this is a great way for us to share our music not just with our fans in the Philippines, but the rest of the world,” said Champ Lui-Pio, the lead vocalist of Hale.
The band performed their new hits like “See You,” “One of These Days,” “You or Nothing” and “Saint or Sinner.” They also did a cover of the song “Lost Stars” from the soundtrack of the movie “Begin Again.”
“We are thrilled to launch the first-ever Spotify Sessions in the Philippines featuring Hale,” said Chee Meng Tan, Director of Label Relations (APAC), Spotify. “Hale’s comeback via an exclusive pre-stream on Spotify has been received well by fans and we can’t wait to share more exciting content from them.”
“This is our way of supporting the OPM industry and we look forward to feature more homegrown talent from our biggest market in the region,” he added.
