IN PHOTOS: Emma Stone, Jennifer Aniston embrace on 2015 Oscars red carpet

MANILA, Philippines - Emma Stone and Jennifer Aniston became red carpet favorites at the 2015 Academy Awards, held in Los Angeles on Sunday (Monday morning, Manila time).
 
Stone and Aniston embraced each other for the cameras on the Oscars red carpet, making them instant trending topics on social media.
 
According to reports, Aniston approached Stone on the red carpet to give her what many on social media described as a "bear hug" and an "unlikely friendship moment."
 
"Can Emma Stone and Jennifer Aniston stop being so awesome?" one Twitter user said. 
 
The two women, of course, are red carpet-worthy on their own. Aniston is elegant in her Versace dress, while Stone is a winner in her Elie Saab dress.
 
Stone is nominated for a Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Birdman."
