An overflowing cup
Now in its 96th year, the Catholic Women’s Club (CWC) continues to reach out to the needy while providing spiritual nourishment to its members. Led by president Baby Gloria, Annual Tea Party chairperson Carrie Bautista and co-chairs Nora Robles, Terry Tambunting, Baby Antonio, Tessie Briones and Nonie Basilio, the club recently held their Annual Tea Party at the Santuario de San Antonio Parish Hall in Forbes Park, Makati City. It was a lovely celebration of the blessings they have received and how the club has allowed them to be vessels of generosity for others.
A night of thanksgiving at the Marriott
Marriott Hotel Manila painted the town a bright and feisty red as they recently staged a Thanksgiving Gala to celebrate their partnership milestone with Philippine Red Cross, where 30 head chefs from Marriott hotels in Asia Pacific collaborated for world-class 5-course dinner. Among the 300 guests who indulged in this sumptuous feast were business executives, society influencers, and media and government leaders who all came in stunning red dresses and crisp suits. “Our corporate social responsibility will always remain a priority and focus,” Marriott International cluster general manager and Marriott Hotel Manila general manager Bruce Winton said. “As it is timely that the best chefs in Asia Pacific hotels are here, our partnership with Philippine Red Cross is worth celebrating.”
