Rustan’s and the Fernando C. Amorsolo Art Foundatio, Inc. recently held a re-launching of the book Amorsolo: Love & Passion. Led by Rustan’s Commercial Corporation president and CEO Nedy Tantoco, the event was attended by art enthusiasts who wanted to celebrate the timeless work of National Artist Fernando Amorsolo. In her speech, Nedy Tantoco highlighted the painter’s priceless contribution to our nation, saying, “Fernando Amorsolo’s works never fail to show to the world, from one generation to the other, that we are rich not just in beautiful landscapes or people but in optimism… His legacy is the embodiment of Filipino culture just as Rustan’s, especially its service is the embodiment of quality and passion.” The two-set Amorsolo book is available at the Filipina section of Rustan’s Department Store. Part of the proceeds will go to Erwin Piedad Cabanag Adult Leukemia Ministries (EPCALM), a God-centered non-stock, non-profit organization which reaches out to leukemia patients as well as their families.

Rustan’s Commercial Corporation chairman emeritus Bienvenido Tantoco Sr. and president and CEO Nedy Tantoco recently had the honor of hosting a farewell dinner for beloved outgoing Italian ambassador Massimo Roscigno, his wife Agnes and their daughter Ursula. Held at the Tantoco family’s opulent residence and attended by businessmen and socialites who have enjoyed the Roscignos’ friendship since the latter’s tour of duty began, it was an evening filled with gratitude and appreciation for all of the good work the ambassador has done. Thank you to the Tantocos for a delightful evening and congratulations to ambassador Massimo Roscigno for a successful term! Alla prossima!
