Cavite welcomes a new shopping haven
The country’s leading property developer Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) under the leadership of president Frederick Go has unveiled its 43rd mall, Robinsons Place General Trias, the newest and most exciting landmark in the province of Cavite. Located along EPZA (Export Processing Zone Authority) Diversion Road — Bacao, the three-storey commercial development houses over 200 stores that will offer the finest selection in dining, fashion, entertainment and services matching the progressive and modern Caviteño lifestyle. The said mall is one of RLC’s diverse projects in the province that includes three other malls — Robinsons Place Imus, Robinsons Place Dasmariñas and Summit Ridge Promenade — as well as residential and hotel developments.
A night of lasting fellowship
It has been a tradition for the indefatigable Muebles Italiano owner Noel Gonzales and his beautiful wife Eileen to host an exclusive party for several of their close friends. This year’s affair, held at the Muebles Italiano showroom in Paseo de Magallanes in Makati, gathered noted personalities from the diplomatic, government, business and social circles that included the untiring Ilocos Norte 2nd District Representative Imelda Marcos who was the evening’s guest of honor. Everyone enjoyed the sumptuous dinner buffet partnered with overflowing vintage wines and champagne. An after-dinner program had all the guests glued to their seats, enjoying the outstanding performances by the host Noel, dancesport champions Edna Ledesma and Cecil Go and Caruso Ristorante Italiano owner Emilio Mina among others. The former First Lady also had a special number wherein she serenaded everyone with her favorite songs.
