No 'number coding' on June 20
MANILA, Philippines – The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) yesterday said the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) or the “number coding” will be lifted on Monday, which Malacañang declared a holiday to mark the 150th birth anniversary of the country’s national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.
President Aquino earlier issued Proclamation No. 154 declaring June 20 as special non-working holiday nationwide in lieu of June 19, which falls on a Sunday.
