4 funeral workers probed over fake death certificate

MANILA, Philippines — Four employees of a funeral home are being probed for reportedly faking the death certificate of a woman in Sta. Ana, Manila recently.

They are Pascasio Ilagan, Joselyn delos Santos, Christopher Lantada and one alias Bong, all workers of Ilagan Funeral Homes located along Onyx street in Sta. Ana.

Ryan Espera, 38, of Rodriguez, Rizal, filed a complaint against the suspects with the Manila Police District.

Espera said the suspects tampered with the death certificate of his mother, Ma. Anthonette Delgado Osama, afte a check with the Manila City Hall.
