Motorcycle rider dies in crash

MANILA, Philippines — A motorcycle rider died after he was run over by a trailer truck in Pasay City on Saturday.

John Raguindi died at the scene from massive head injuries, traffic probers said.

Police said Raguindi was on a motorcycle along EDSA when he crashed into a truck (EVR-184) driven by Romeo Gastilo.

Investigation showed that Raguindi tried to overtake a car prior to the collision.

Gastilo was arrested after the accident.

Police said charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide would be filed against him.
