MRT-3 glitches force commuters off trains

MANILA, Philippines —  Commuters were repeatedly forced to get off trains of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) yesterday morning.

The MRT-3 tweeted that a technical problem occurred at the Guadalupe station in Makati around 10:12 a.m.

Another technical problem forced commuters to get off a southbound train at the GMA Kamuning station at around 11:22 a.m. 

On Wednesday, two commuters were injured after one of the trains suddenly stopped at the Shaw Boulevard station in Mandaluyong City due to a technical problem. 

 The MRT-3 also said that technical problems occurred five times last Wednesday.
