Man stabbed dead by girlfriend’s ex

MANILA, Philippines - A 22-year-old man was stabbed to death, allegedly by his girlfriend’s former lover, in Quezon City on Sunday night. 

Construction worker Mark Vincent Bertiz was killed at his girlfriend’s house on Feliciano street in Barangay Pasong Putik at around 11:30 p.m.

Pio Acosta, 34, reportedly barged into the house and used a fan knife to stab Bertiz repeatedly as his former girlfriend sought help from neighbors. Bertiz died at the East Avenue Medical Center.
