PAL offers refund for Mindanao flights
MANILA, Philippines - Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) is giving passengers going to destinations in Mindanao the option to refund, rebook or reroute their tickets after the declaration of martial law in the south.
In an advisory yesterday, PAL said passengers heading to Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cotabato, Davao, Dipolog, General Santos, Ozamiz, Surigao and Zamboanga from May 24 until July 30 may opt to rebook their tickets without penalty within 90 days from the original flight date.
Rebooking is allowed on restricted or non-restricted tickets.
Paid seats such as choice economy and forward economy seats, as well as pre-paid baggage may be rebooked to the passenger’s new flight date.
Passengers can choose to reroute their flights without penalty, but additional fares and taxes may be assessed as necessary.
Passengers get a fare refund without penalty.
