2 gunned down in QC

MANILA, Philippines - Two men were killed in separate shooting incidents in Quezon City on Thursday.

Police said Jaynel Dingding, 39, and Ryan Velasquez, 24, were shot dead in Barangays Payatas-B and South Triangle, respectively.

Dingding died at the scene from gunshots to the body.

Reports said Velasquez was watching television when two unidentified men broke into his house and shot him several times.

Velasquez’s brother told police that the gunmen fled on a motorcycle.

The cases were turned over to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of the Quezon City police.
