Korean man found dead in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - The decomposing body of a Korean man was found in a hotel in Sta. Cruz, Manila on Thursday afternoon.

Police identified the fatality as Jun Sung Kim.

Police Officer 3 Jorlan Taluban said Violeta Lopez, 60, caretaker of the hotel, sought the help of barangay officials after a stench emanated from Kim’s room at past 5 p.m.

Lopez said she saw Kim shivering days before he was found dead.
