2 dead in public market shootings
MANILA, Philippines - Two men were killed in separate shootings at two markets in Quezon City on Sunday.
Crisanto Aguilar, 29, was repeatedly shot allegedly by Reggie Radam as he was bathing his dog at the parking area of the Cloverleaf Market at around 3:30 p.m., a witness told police.
He was declared dead on arrival at the Quezon City General Hospital.
Allan Ricohermoso, 43, general inspector of Commonwealth Market, died at the scene after being shot by an unidentified assailant at past 4 p.m.
As the assailant escaped, he also shot the victim’s grandson, Bryle Ricohermoso, 25, in the abdomen. Bryle was brought to the FEU Hospital for treatment.
Police officers recovered two spent .45 caliber shells and two spent 9mm shells at the crime scene.
