Woman shot dead on Parañaque footbridge

MANILA, Philippines - An unidentified woman was shot dead while she was walking along a footbridge in Barangay La Huerta, Parañaque City Sunday night.

Police said the woman, estimated to be in her mid-30s, died at the scene when a man identified only as “Bilo” shot her several times at around 7 p.m.

The footbridge is located beside the La Huerte Elementary School.

Police are working to determine the identities of the victim and her assailant and the motive for the attack.
