Photo exhibit to highlight ‘Araw ng Maynila’

MANILA, Philippines – The city government of Manila has lined up several activities for the 445th Araw ng Maynila on June 24.

Mayor Joseph Estrada will lead the launch of the “Balik-Tanaw sa Maynila” photo exhibit today.

The event, organized by the Manila City Hall tourism department at the Baywalk along Roxas Boulevard, will run until June 23.

“We want to revive tourism in Manila to let the youth see how it looked like before. Manila’s history and culture will be displayed during the exhibit,” Estrada said.

“When you say Philippines, Manila comes to mind. People say a lot of good things about Manila,” he said.
