Barangay councilor’s house strafed

MANILA, Philippines – A barangay councilor sought police assistance after unidentified persons shot at her house in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City Tuesday night.

Barangay 177 kagawad Dolores Asistio told police that five men on two motorcycles strafed her house at around 8:30 p.m., a few minutes after she left.

Asistio’s daughter said the assailants sped away on the motorcycles, one of them driven by a woman wearing a helmet.

No one was reported injured in the incident.

Probers recovered four spent shells from the scene.

Asistio said last Sunday, she and her supporters were having a meeting when still unidentified men on a motorcycle threw trash at her house.
