Couple caught sniffing shabu

MANILA, Philippines - A couple was arrested while allegedly sniffing shabu at a cemetery in Malabon City early yesterday morning.

Nabbed were Nolie de la Cruz, 47, a driver, and his partner Magie Pimo, 36.

Chief Inspector Joseph Gordoves, police community precinct 4 commander, said a concerned resident called the attention of barangay officials regarding two persons who were seen sniffing shabu at the Tugatog cemetery at around 5 a.m.

The barangay officials immediately informed the police who responded and caught the couple in a pot session.

The couple denied that they were drug pushers but admitted to using drugs.
