Showing of pirated film in DFA office probed

Rainier Allan Ronda - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) will conduct an investigation into the reported showing of a pirated film in its satellite office in Manila.

“The DFA has never authorized any showing of pirated movies in any of its passport satellite offices,” the DFA said in a statement yesterday. “We are looking into the complaint and personnel found involved will be dealt with disciplinary action.”

The DFA issued the statement after television and movie personality Vice Ganda said in his Twitter account that a pirated copy of the film A Second Chance was shown in its satellite office at Ali Mall in Cubao, Quezon City.
