Singaporean loses P.3 M to snatcher

MANILA, Philippines – A Singaporean man lost at least P300,000 cash to a snatcher in Manila early yesterday morning.

Amritpal Singh, 38, who was billeted at a hotel along Adriatico street, told police that he had just stepped out of a money changer shop when the suspect grabbed his bag at around 2 a.m.

Singh said he tried to chase the suspect but to no avail.

Following the incident, he said he would never come back to the Philippines and would discourage his friends in Singapore from visiting the country.
