Man, 67, dies in motorbike mishap

MANILA, Philippines - A 67-year-old pedestrian died after he was hit by a speeding motorcycle as he crossed FVR Road in Marikina City yesterday.

Nicanor Angeles hit the pavement headfirst and died at the scene at past 5 a.m., rescue workers said.

Traffic police officers arrested Christian Crisostomo, 36, the driver of the motorcycle.
