Cops clueless on driver’s slay

MANILA, Philippines - Police are clueless on the motive behind the killing of a delivery van driver in Malabon City yesterday morning.

Juanito Mabini, 56, was talking to his friend Dionie Ebarita while waiting for his turn to have his vehicle washed in Barangay Longos at around 6:30 a.m. when three armed men arrived and shot him several times, city police chief Senior Superintendent Severino Abad Jr. said.

Ebarita was not hurt in the attack.
